# 1. Praying the Apostle Paul's Prayers, p. 12
I pray that the God of my Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, will give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation so that I may know God; that He will open the eyes of my heart so that I may know the hope of His calling, the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints, and the immeasurable greatness of the power He gives to me as a believer, according to the working of His mighty strength. (Ephesians 1:17–19)
I pray that, according to the riches of God's glory, He will strengthen my inner being with power through His Holy Spirit; that Christ will dwell in my heart through faith; and that, rooted and grounded in love, I may understand with all the saints the breadth, length, height, and depth of Christ's love that surpasses knowledge, and be filled with all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:16–19)
Fill me with the knowledge of God's will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that I may live in a manner worthy of the Lord and please Him in everything, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen me with all power according to His glorious might, so that I may endure and be patient in all things with joy. I give thanks to the Father, who has made me worthy to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light. (Colossians 1:9–12)
I desire that my love may grow ever richer in knowledge and all insight, so that I may discern what is best for me. I pray that I may therefore remain pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that Jesus Christ gives, bringing glory and praise to God. (Philippians 1:9–11)
