EnglishWe are posting this notice following an unfortunate incident involving copyright infringement concerning the book Christ's Army Training Course.
Our church first learned of this matter through Missionary Gloria Son (Son Sun-mi) around June 3, 2018. We regard it as a serious issue and are posting this notice to raise awareness among church members and make clear that such incidents must not occur.
The matter came to light when a missionary living in Los Angeles, USA, Kim ○○ (alias: Jeong ○○), mentioned during a consultation with Missionary Gloria Son (Son Sun-mi) having written a book. After receiving the book and reviewing its contents, Missionary Son recognized the seriousness of the matter.
Missionary Kim ○○ (alias: Jeong ○○) is currently active in the United States through a mission organization called “Jesus Life Healing Mission.” The missionary replaced the author's name with their own throughout Christ's Army Training Course and republished the same content under the title Soldiers of the Cross of Jesus Christ, changing only the title and cover. This infringes the copyright of Internet World Family Publishing Media and appropriates all of the author's personal experiences described in the book.
Internet World Family Church makes the following statements:
1. All copyright in the book Christ's Army Training Course belongs to Internet World Family Publishing Media. (Copyright registration completed: September 1, 2017)
2. Christ's Army Training Course contains the author's experiences under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in accordance with Scripture. Unauthorized reproduction, appropriation, and distribution are strictly prohibited.
3. Internet World Family Publishing Media distributes Christ's Army Training Course, written by Missionary Gloria Son (Son Sun-mi), free of charge.
4. If you wish to use Christ's Army Training Course in your local area or ministry, you must first complete the six-month Christ's Army Training Course offered by Internet World Family Church.
5. If you wish to produce bound copies of Christ's Army Training Course, you must contact Internet World Family Publishing Media beforehand. The book must be reproduced exactly as it is, without editing any part, including its cover design, title, contents, author's name, address, contact details, email, main phone number, or website information.
6. Our church will issue a warning to Missionary Kim ○○ (alias: Jeong ○○) and plans to remove the missionary from the six-month Christ's Army Training Course offered by Internet World Family Church.
7. To raise awareness, we are posting material from the book involved in this incident for your reference. If you know of any other organizations or ministry workers engaging in similar conduct, please inform Internet World Family Church so that we can take steps to uphold proper ministry practices.
